Comments about Schwinn 460 Variable Stride Elliptical:
Ok I weigh a little over 300 pounds and my weight was a major consideration in selecting a machine. I have had no problems with the 460 elliptical feeling as if it were going to tip over. The machine is constructed from heavy material so where you put it it stays. The variable stride operation is so smooth and easy on the knees and ankles. Transversing from short, walking strides to longer, running strides is as natural as simply changing your stride the 460 moves right along with you effortlessly with nothing physically to change on the machine. The workout computer is nice with a large display, however, the buttons can be somewhat cumbersome to operate while you are actually running. The weighted wheel has a nice balanced feel to it and the drag is smooth and applies just the right amount of resistance per step. One last comment, I use my 460 in a one bedroom apartment with very little space. Like me, if you have to consider space the 460 is a perfect candidate.......
