My kids are at that age where they're too young to be left alone, yet old enough to be able to manage for themselves while I get things done around the house. My husband leaves for work early in the morning (out the door by 6am most days). I was looking for a way to expand my work out regime without having to join a gym or it being to expensive. It was important to me that I not be tied to any one app. My only complaint is that I've had to recalibrate the bike already. I've only had it for a few weeks.

Are the calories burned (as shown on the console) accurate? Since it doesn't calculate that number with your height, weight, age, or the resistance you're using, is there some way I can find out a realistic number?
